Custom Order! Woodland quilt

While I am doing all of my prep for the One of a Kind show...I am also filling custom orders. I just finalized a super cute quilt design in a Woodland theme...the baby's nursery is going to be amazing...Hopefully the Mom will let me take a few pictures once it is all put together!

My little plush friends were photographed by the talented and amazing photographers of the One of a Kind show...I am not sure yet if they will be officially used in the marketing campaign or not...but here they are!

Springy's New Store!

Springy's in Hamilton is opening a second location up on the mountain on Upper James. I am going to have my work in the new store too!

It is opening next weekend, June 3-5th is the date I believe.

The new store is HUGE! And the layout is fantastic too. I can't wait to see it all finished.

It is definitely going to be the best place to go to get the coolest, and BEST baby and tot gear!

Sheridan again

I signed up to screen print at Sheridan again! It starts on May 4, so I have one month to figure out my new designs...and tweak one or two of the vintage.

I have been trying to decide what direction to go...and as usual I have about 100 ideas. Unfortunately I only have 10 large silk screens (unless I buy more...hmmmm)to work with.

Stick with the graphic geometric style (which I love) or switch to conversationals...text...photographic images...the possiblities are wayyy too endless.

Still using bold colours though...THAT will not change anytime soon.

Hello March!

Whoa! Time flies!

My work is now available at Springy's in Hamilton. They are a baby boutique that sells strollers (we got our BOB duallie there) and baby gear, bedding, and all of the baby necessities! They love to buy local when they can, so they have some work from local designers in their store as well. We met through the Hamilton Baby Expo in October. Currently they have some baby blankets, pillows, owls, and a couple of monkeys.

I am bringing another set of pillows and giraffes down to the store this weekend...Sneaky Peeky....

2011

I decided that 2011 would be the year of me keeping up with my blog and it is already January 3rd and no posts from me. Ultra fail in the resolutions department I guess. Although I did read two novels this week! Giller Prize nominated books rock. Too bad they disregarded Room...it looks really good too.

So....in the design department...

Working on some new ideas for screens, and totally cleaned up the huge mess I made in the studio during the One of a Kind show.

Bought some lights to so that I can take some better photos of my work too. Would love to actually have some things listed on Etsy!!
